My first whole day in Nagoya

The plane ride was really arduous and at my closest breaking point, when I thought I couldn't stand to be on that plane anymore, I realized we were only half way there! I'm really glad that plane ride is over. It was completely worth it though because so far, Nagoya is really awesome. There are 9 other Aeon trainees staying at this hotel with me. Most of them are from America but one girl is Australian and another girl is Canadian. No one else is from Texas and one girl asked me today if everyone in Texas listens to country music.
Today the whole group of us went to the neighboring district of Sakae and saw lots of people, all wearing matching outfits, dancing at this festival. Then we went to this huge department store called Loft that has 7 floors. All the food I have had so far has been really good. I forgot to bring my camera when we went out today so I didn't get to take a picture of this, but I saw this girl wearing a huge, pink, ruffled maid's outfit, walking down the street. That was totally an outfit I had never seen anyone wear before!
Tomorrow we start training which is supposed to be quite intense with the amount of information that is given to you. We train for eight hours a day, for a week and a half. After that, I will go to Handa to begin working at my real school.
Here are a few pictures of my hotel room in Nagoya.

Wow! You can brush your teeth either in the tub or the potty! Why can't we have that here. It would save more time!

Jen - I am really happy that you are having a good time! :) and are liking everything. I hope your training is not too bad and you can go out and have fun and get one of those pink maid's outfits. I think your students will like you more :) if you show up in something like that.
